Data bandwidth consumed by protocols like Oscar (AIM) is very high, and if operators bill per megabyte transfered, I can see $1,000 monthly bills in no time. That's why there are server-to-server gateways and protocols especifically designed for low bandwidth, like Wireless Village. http://www.yamigo.com is providing those gateways with low bandwidth for the client. Good work otherwise; look forward to see WV/IMPS client support.
