Trying Feedburner Feedblitz For Email Updates

I saw that Feedburner, who handles the feeds across Corante, are providing an intergrated email service from Feedblitz (see Back to the Future: Introducing Email Subscriptions). Looked like a way to avoid the spammers' email addresses that have accumulated in Get Real's guts (2800+ at this point). But then, of course, looks like Feedblitz has been hammered by all the Feedburner users signing up, and the system is down.

The system was down for about 5 mins today to apply some security patches - you just got unlucky! The service is up and running... Performance-wise it's handling the load from FeedBurner great!

This newbie blogger is a raving fan of Feedblitz because of the elegance and easy of use. It works for the savvy "Corante" crowd but also for me, where most of the people in my educated, very creative town are still not aware of blogs, nor comfortable with them when they do see one on their screen (freeze and avoid)... but Google blog and Feedblize (not yet, Yahoo's effort at seaching for blog) ... so those of us trailing in the middle of the parade of blogging DO appreciate both Feedblitz and your helpful blog. Thank you!
